What is a revolution?
How and why are revolutions started?
what happens after a revolution?
are revolutions necessary?
How do we judge success and impact of a revolution?
Revolutions are not simply confined to history! Revolutions have happened throughout history and continue to happen in our world today (e.g. the recent Arab Spring). These revolutions have shaped (and continue to shape) our societies and international relationships, especially with globalization. It is crucial for us to examine revolutions throughout history so that we have a better understanding of how our own countries and societies developed, and also so that we understand the current events that are happening in our world today and shaping history.
